Gordon McKernan Injury Attorneys and Girls on the Run Celebrate Culmination of Partnership at Spring 5K Race
Gordon McKernan Injury Attorneys is thrilled to share the success of our collaboration with Girls on the Run of South Louisiana. The partnership culminated Saturday in a memorable spring 5K race, showcasing the spirit of unity and empowerment.
Motivated by our shared mission to uplift and inspire young girls in our community, we launched our partnership with Girls on the Run last month. As the campaign unfolded, we connected girls in our community with female role models, including our NIL athletes and dedicated female employees. From tutu-making sessions with LSU gymnastics to workout classes with our G-Team ladies, we designed each effort to instill confidence and empower the next generation of women leaders.
The Get Gordon team was comprised of over 40 team members, including our internal staff, NIL athletes and more. We loved seeing the girls’ faces light up while interacting with our NIL athletes from gymnastics, softball, track and field, cheer and dance. Our “Girls Get It Done” motto was on full display as the girls came together to show their strength, resilience and determination.
As a testament to our commitment to Girls on the Run, we made a donation of $8,888, which our female NIL partners and GMIA employees presented on stage at the event. We were proud to be the sole corporate sponsor in attendance, reaffirming our support for this cause.
This campaign demonstrated the transformative power of collaboration and community engagement, and we’re beyond grateful for those who helped make our vision come to life. We want to give a special shoutout to Carley Fuller, executive director of Girls on the Run of South Louisiana, our remarkable female NIL athletes and employees and most importantly – our community.
Looking Ahead
Reflecting on this incredible partnership, we feel inspired and hopeful for the future. While we’ve crossed the finish line of this campaign, our team remains committed to making a meaningful impact on the lives of young girls in our community. We’re proud of this successful collaboration with Girls on the Run and look forward to continuing to spread awareness of such an important cause. After all, girls do Get it Done!
