John Davis

John Davis was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and earned his undergraduate degree in English from Tulane University in 2010. He then graduated from LSU Law Center in 2013. While in law school, John clerked for the East Baton Rouge District Attorney’s Office. Following law school, John represented clients involved in audits and tax controversy in Lafayette, Louisiana.

In 2018, John began representing plaintiffs in personal injury cases. He excels in legal research and writing and has handled a wide variety of cases including 18-wheeler accidents, slip and falls, and premise liability injuries. John is admitted to practice in all three Louisiana federal districts and has extensive experience with motion practice in federal court.

Additionally, John had the honor and privilege of arguing in front of the Louisiana Supreme Court in 2023. John was successful in reversing the appellate court and reinstating the damages that were awarded to his clients at trial.

John has frequently presented continuing legal education seminars to other attorneys that focus on personal injury strategies and issues. He remains active in the community by volunteering at Shreveport Bar Foundation Pro Bono Project’s Ask-A-Lawyer monthly event.
